The Greenfield Public Recreation  District usually meets every third Monday of the month, but are now once a month - all agenda's will be posted online and on site at the Greenfield Oak Park. 

JUNE UPDATES: 

The Greenfield Public Recreation District meeting for June took place on June 15th, 2026 at the 618 Apple Avenue at 6:30 PM. 

• The board discussed the pool and got updates. The pool now has water in it and id actively being cleaned and working forward to team up with Soledad Mission Recreation District, to take steps to open this summer. 
• The board has purchased a credit card unit and the unit that is now down at the park for gate fees and pit purchases. 
• The board discussed the basketball project. Currently there is a portable hoop on site! We invite you to come out and shoot some hoops! The board is considering getting stationary hoops and striping two half courts. 
• Prop 68 is a grant that was received by the park back in 2017. The board and staff have been making great strides this past year with the Oak Park Improvement Project which includes the basketball court (repaving) and the pool. 
• The Board of Trustee's voted to continue to operate on their 2025-2026 budget until July when they could go over their budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. 
• The Oak Park/Greenfield Public Recreation District will be popping up in the near future at a local event. Stay tuned!
• Oak Park staff and the board is gearing up for a fun summer! We look forward to seeing your families and friends out and enjoying the park, but there's more...stay tuned for some announcements one of which is coming today June 18th, 2026 in the afternoon. El Distrito de Recreación Pública de Greenfield (Greenfield Public Recreation District) suele reunirse el tercer lunes de cada mes, aunque actualmente las reuniones se celebran una vez al mes; todas las agendas se publicarán en línea y en las instalaciones de Greenfield Oak Park.

ACTUALIZACIONES DE JUNIO:

La reunión de junio del Distrito de Recreación Pública de Greenfield se celebró el 15 de junio de 2026 en el 618 de Apple Avenue, a las 6:30 p. m.

• La junta trató temas relacionados con la piscina y recibió actualizaciones. La piscina ya cuenta con agua y se está limpiando activamente; además, se trabaja en colaboración con el Distrito de Recreación de Soledad Mission para tomar las medidas necesarias para su apertura este verano.
• La junta ha adquirido una terminal para pagos con tarjeta de crédito, la cual ya se encuentra en el parque para gestionar el cobro de entradas y la venta de artículos.
• La junta debatió sobre el proyecto de baloncesto. ¡Actualmente ya hay una canasta portátil en las instalaciones! ¡Les invitamos a venir y jugar un poco al baloncesto! La junta está considerando instalar canastas fijas y marcar las líneas para dos medias canchas.
• La Propuesta 68 (Prop 68) es una subvención que el parque recibió en 2017. Durante el último año, la junta y el personal han logrado grandes avances en el Proyecto de Mejora de Oak Park, el cual incluye la cancha de baloncesto (repavimentación) y la piscina.
• La Junta Directiva votó a favor de seguir operando con el presupuesto de 2025-2026 hasta el mes de julio, momento en el que podrán revisar el presupuesto para el año fiscal 2026-2027.
• Próximamente, Oak Park y el Distrito de Recreación Pública de Greenfield participarán en un evento local. ¡Estén atentos!
